I'm a Software Engineer in Seattle. I work at Meta on WhatsApp Infra. I have my M.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I'm a husband, climber, mountain biker, splitboarder, dog dad, and Magic player in my free time.
Why
This blog is just a place for me to write down my thoughts. It's like a time capsule to what I was thinking about some time ago. Its target audience is my future self, though others are welcome to read it.
Interests
I'm fascinated by design. Especially functional design of both natural and built environments. Human inventions that push what's possible on multiple aspects of their goals such as their function, feature sets, durability, and external impact interest me. Mention urbanism, distributed software systems, databases, mountain bike components, economics, or old trees to me and see where the conversation takes us.
