SDOT Demands

After walking and bike commuting around Seattle for a few years, I've developed some demands for SDOT:

20mph speed limit on all roads with sidewalks or bike lanes
One lane maximum for cars, all other lanes become sidewalk, bike lane, or space for gardens, barriers, and outdoor seating
Many roads become bus / delivery vehicle / handicap only
All bike lanes / sidewalks are protected by planters or barriers
Cameras at all intersections, send drivers straight to jail if they fail to come to a full and complete stop, speed, run the red light, don't have lights on, or creep up on pedestrians who are crossing.
Pedestrians and bikes allowed to jaywalk
Invest in public transit

SDOT if you don't comply with my demands I'll be forced to be grumpy on my walk to work.
